Cognitive behavioural therapy teaches you the skills for dealing with different problems. It discusses how thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect how you feel and what you do.

Thoughts, feelings and behaviours are linked. When we have upsetting thoughts this makes us feel upset which means we are more likely do so something to strengthen  these thoughts and feelings. We call this a vicious cycle. CBT helps to break the vicious cycle – the good news is once we start to change one aspect of the cycle it has a knock on affect on the others. If you are stuck in a cycle I can help you move forward.

I offer a free 20 minute consultation before you book in your first therapy session. This is to ensure that we will be able to build a therapeutic relationship, I want everyone to succeed and don’t want any clients continuing if they don’t feel that therapy will be helpful.

Online CBT sessions

I offer online sessions completed via Microsoft Teams. This offers more flexibility with regards to time and location. You will need Wi-Fi connection and a private space to complete the sessions.
